Reliability, Functionality and Responsive Support

Cited as Reasons for IP Telecom’s Selection of TelcoBridges

Boucherville, Quebec: July 22, 2013 – TelcoBridges today announced that IP Telecom, headquartered in Miramar, Florida and a licensed alternative carrier in El Salvador, is leveraging TelcoBridges Tmedia gateways to expand its business in El Salvador.

IP Telecom focuses on providing telecommunications services between the United States and Latin-America.  With its own state-of-the-art VoIP network, and direct interconnections to every major voice and data carrier worldwide, IP Telecom provides broadband Internet access, Voice over IP, VPNs corporate intranets, and other solutions for call shops, call centers, Internet cafes, small & medium sized businesses and other competitive local exchange carriers.

Today, IP Telecom carries approximately 10-percent of all the inbound traffic to El Salvador on its VoIP network using TelcoBridges' TMG3200 media gateway with SS7 interconnection to all other carriers in El Salvador.

Tmedia gateways provide the functionality we need in a single box, so we won’t have to invest in expensive call routing systems or additional hardware as we scale our business and roll out new services to customers,” said Dannie Baquero, President of IP Telecom.  “TelcoBridges support is another plus.  We find TelcoBridges’ support staff to be extremely responsive; more than just a vendor, they’re trusted advisors, and a key resource for IP Telecom.”

“We met IP Telecom in Miami at an Industry trade show with our reseller partner Pulse, and we’re impressed with the way they’re using our technology to scale their business into new markets,” said Gaetan Campeau, CEO of TelcoBridges.  “IP Telecom is expanding its footprint in El Salvador by providing new services and better international rates than the incumbent carriers, and we’re pleased to see our technology play a role in IP Telecom’s success.”

Pulse is a value added reseller that has been one of TelcoBridges’ leading partners for more than four years.  They have deployed several TelcoBridges gateways across the USA, and internationally.
